I’ve been working in a financial corporation all my life. After 20 years of constant stress, I quit my job to rest and improve my health. It turned out that there is life outside the corporation - I started visiting museums, galleries, festivals, reader’s evenings, etc. I felt the need to present my feelings, thoughts, or experiences in the form of an image. Since I’ve been working on a computer all my life, it seemed to be the most appropriate tool for this.

I started with simple works, developing my workshop. It takes me most of my time to search for “the only” photos, pictures and graphics. I browse the websites of museums, libraries, archives and stock photos for hours. Sometimes I also use photos taken by myself. I draw inspiration from life, current or past events, people I have encountered, literature and sometimes from a photo found in archives. I am also inspired by my town – Łodz. I am a feminist and as a mother a transgender child, activist of the association for the LGBTQIA+ movement “We, parents”, which brings together parents of queer children.
