Images of the World 11
View Art on your Wall
"View 11" is a limited edition museum-quality fine art print from my series "Images of the World". The edition includes only 10 items. To create this work, I combined my scanned hand-made drawings with digital graphics. The print is made with the giclée technique in archival quality on world-recognized Hahnemühle paper.
"View 11" will become one of the frames of the new video that I'm currently working on. This piece is devoted to the theory of noosphere by Pierre de Chardin and Vladimir Vernadsky.
The noosphere is defined as a sphere of thought enveloping the Earth, the 'thinking layer' of the biosphere. The authors considered the noosphere to be the third stage of Earth's development, after the geosphere (think rocks, water, and air) and the biosphere (all the living things) .
I find inspiration in this philosophical idea of having a kind of mind net that connects all humanity. It gives the feeling of being in touch with something bigger and to other people, this feeling of connection is what I aimed to share.
