"Ochre No 2" is a painting from the "Planet Earth" collection Ochre – meaning- rock fragments rich in iron compounds. It has accompanied people since prehistoric times. Due to its unique and rich color from yellow to orange, red to dark brown, it was used as a natural pigment for rituals and the first art on cave walls. Ochre ground and stabilizes. My intention was to convey all of these properties in the image. It looks beautiful in a collection, but also as a single painting.
