My collages associate with and shape themselves in relation to today's society, with some irony and satirical tone. I combine traditional painting techniques with the modern, glossy, and shiny world. I try to present this duality in a harmonious way. My works are usually based on printed photos and headlines, or even full pages of women's magazines that have attracted my interest. The final image is formed in my head based on a fragment of a photo or title, or even the color of a page which I must in all conditions liberate from the magazine's captivity to raise all this to a higher level: the perfection created by mass media.
