VICTORY ART IN SLOVAKIA
Major themes in my work include fantasy, dreams, lightness, emotion, and my personal relationships. The world around me inspires me. The potential eye and mind of the viewer have been mesmerized by a bright and luminous gradated range of tones. So my paintings, mostly understood as abstract can also be seen as landscape or universe in some form represent a way of the modern vision of art.

I am a Slovak painter and art therapist based in Prague who focuses mainly on expressive abstract oil painting. I have always believed art is an extraordinary tool for self-transformation, and so my creative process is an intuitive, balancing act where I constantly lose and find myself over and over again. I am proud to say my artworks are part of private collections all around the world and have been part of international exhibitions in many parts of the world including Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany, and the USA.

I learned how to understand our world while exploring and discovering the infinite richness of visual experience I was surrounded by. It was mainly the area of graphic design, typography, and new media, that caught my attention at the beginning. I began to feel over time, that the digital art world lacked one of the most fundamental human experiences for me. It was direct physical contact with the work of art. Therefore, I immediately decided on the medium painting, which is very traditional and contemporary at the same time. As soon as I discovered the fine arts, I knew this will be an integral part of my life.

I come from a family with four children. My father was a civil servant and my mother a simple housewife. I grew up in a small village in eastern Slovakia with maybe 1000 inhabitants. As a small child, I took an aluminum spoon and used it to draw on all the furniture. My mother was always annoyed and wondered where I got this desire to draw from.
In my environment there was no one who could lead me to it only then in school did my teacher realize that I have a great artistic talent and gives me a way and support. In this village I lived my childhood directly with nature. That influenced me a lot and forever.

I was born and raised in central Slovakia, in a classical village with folk traditions. I believe I have been looking at our world slightly differently ever since I was a small child.
I have three certificates of the Alpha, Beta, and Gamma courses and I have had a couple of small vernissages too. I love painting and I especially love how an abstract painting gives me the opportunity to freely express what I feel I enjoy various combinations of colors and materials, and also the fact that abstract can be minimalistic. To me, it is amazing and fascinating how each person sees and finds something different in every abstract painting.

I am a Slovakian graphic designer who was introduced to the world of art through my love for graffiti art. I got into graffiti for the first time in elementary school and it has never ceased to fascinate me. However, I use graffiti art in my work in a different way than one would expect.
I like to think of graffiti as a specific social artifact. I create unique assemblages from graffiti waste and transfers them into a new luxurious context. For example, the collection of canvases called 'Mummies' are mostly assemblages I created from graffiti waste transformed into a new form, which brings any style of street art into a new context.

I am a Homo sapiens sapiens, part of a 2.8 million-year-old species on a 4.5 billion-year-old planet in a 13.7 billion-year-old universe. I am simultaneously insignificant and vital.
As an individual, I am a conscious entity shaped by my physical form, family, social background, and life experiences. I am a temporary cluster of energy, influencing myself, surroundings, and the universe.

I’m a Slovakian-born artist with Hungarian roots. However, I currently live in Bratislava where I studied painting and other media at the Academy of Fine Arts. My main subject is usually time, memories, childhood, the origin of the world, and the transformation of the material world into abandoned and forgotten landscapes. The technique I use is very specific and similar to sgraffito-- it has relief-like features.

My story had a late start- it began after years of draining, time-consuming back and forth in the commercial world. After feeling a need for a creative boost, I thought why not leverage her talent for playing with colors and dip my feet into the world of abstract art.
The tipping point came when my work was commissioned by a stranger and I was offered my first exhibition. Since then painting became part of ME.

I am fascinated by the inner world that everyone has inside. The feelings, emotions, passions, and vices of humanity are my inspiration. I depict them mainly through women. For abstract-biomorphic shapes, I am looking for inspiration in nature. The picture always has its own idea/story, that the attentive viewer will understand when examining symbols. I also create portraits in collaboration with various successful sports personalities that create a small hall of fame.
I love art because it never gets old, its legacy persists and bears witness to its time. It is something tangible, but at the same time it's something, that is not tangible, the thought/story of the author.

I have always been creating since childhood. I have studied textiles in high school and currently studying at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. Though I am primarily focused in textile design, I will always be a painter as well.
I love brief, spontaneous and energetic paintings. Working with textile and crafting in general requires a lot of patience and planning. I love both of these approaches I love, and together it give me a balance.

My name is Viktória. I am the founder of Victory Art and an artist as well. Since I was a child I used to love photography and admire, how authentically it can capture any moment.
The collection presented at Victory Art is from the period when I was fascinated by glass, its possibilities, shapes, fragility, and power to hurt so badly at the same moment. Because I believe, that the form of presenting the art piece is as important as the art pieces themselves, the art pieces are printed on an aluminum plate using my favorite formats (square and circle).

I am an artist living in the small town of Topolcany in Slovakia. I have loved art since I was a child and my big fantasy always helped me out. So, eventually, I attended an art-focused high school and later college. Since then my passion for painting has only grown. My favorite medium is acrylic paints, but I often experiment with glue, oil, gold, and silver foil or glitter.
I really enjoy Andy Warhol’s work but I get inspiration from my surroundings in my everyday life. If you were to ask me why I paint, I would reply with the old adage, ‘do what makes you happy.’ And painting makes me happy.

I studied art school and besides painting, I also illustrate and do graphic design. I’ve always been interested in art. From paintings to photography, dance, fashion, or design. For me, creating is a natural way of life. It doesn't matter if I paint, dress up, or cook. Everything is creation for me.

The paintings are in an abstract style and offer great freedom of expression and movement. It is a kind of therapy and meditation, the moment when time ceases to exist.

When I first visited a gallery, I was completely entranced by the paintings on the wall. As I was looking at each of them slowly, I could not get enough of their beauty, and as I could not think of anything that would compare to this moment. I had not had such dreams in years but what I felt then was motivation enough for me to pursue an artistic career.
I stopped painting for a long time and I focused on photography because of commercial reasons. But, as once was said, if you want to paint and it is inside you, you will always keep getting back to it. It is one of the best ways to express your own freedom, the most authentic story about ourselves and our world.

Works of art have been my passion since an early age. When I was six I drew my first drawing and painted my very first painting. I was attending an artistic painting club during elementary and high school as well. Now I work as a neurologist and live in Kosice, Slovakia. At present, I divide my time between the medical job and artistic activity in order to lead fulfilled and well-balanced life.
The greatest sources of my inspiration are nature, love, music, life's events, and memories. As by means of my portraits and paintings I leave a legacy, a message, a footstep of my existence I consider the whole time dedicated to the special matter best spent.
