The Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Washington D.C. and Victory Art invite you to join us for the opening of the solo show by Andrea Ehret at 6PM on the 1st May 2025.
Art is a conversation – an intimate exchange between the artist and the observer, as well as a dialogue between the artist and the self. In Silence and Freedom, Slovak visual artist, painter and performer Andrea Ehret invites the audience into the depths of this conversation. Her expressive abstract works, crafted using mixed media elements, become a bridge between these opposing forces, embodying both the raw energy of spontaneity and the meditative quiet of introspection. The art explores the tension between expression and stillness, chaos and harmony....
